I am an Educational Psychologist, based in Blackheath. I am also a former teacher so I have good knowledge of classroom expectations. I am currently based at a school in Randburg, where I engage closely with teachers as part of the School Based Support Team (SBST) and assist in compiling referrals for the Department of Education to review for possible placement of learners who can no longer cope in a mainstream setting. I have a special interest in study skills, career assessment and career counselling. I enjoy seeing learners and students uncover their potential by identifying their interests and passions.

As a former teacher, I have seen the struggles of learners feeling unfulfilled and demoralised in the classroom. Assessments provide an opportunity to determine a child’s strengths and weaknesses using standardized tests. The purpose is to test the general intellectual ability and learning potential of an individual.
