In this modern world we live in, we are exposed and overwhelmed by what we hear and see on a daily basis. Our "normal" now are days filled with violence, crime, trauma, stress, depression and burnout from long working hours and a rushed lifestyle. Our coping mechanisms are now drugs, alcohol and sex. All destructive. When we reach out and ask for help it is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of strength. It is a way to learn new coping skills and how to use them when facing our world and the challenges in it.
I provide counselling to individuals seeking help with difficulties in relationships, stress, anxiety, depression and trauma. My approach is holistic, which means that I focus on the client as a whole person, not just their mental health needs. I take into account the client's physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing to provide the support needed.
Counselling is an effective way to facilitate and encourage positive growth and teach clients healthy coping mechanisms to address any concerns they might have in their day-to-day lives. The purpose of personal counselling is to guide you through a process of self-discovery and change in order for you to live a life that is happy and successful.
