Life is challenging. Unpleasant, traumatic events occur. We experience losses. We may recall awful past events and the intense memories persist. Relational difficulties arise - with partners, children, family or friends. Our zest for life may wane.. Cultural or spiritual beliefs may be challenged. At such times we need the support of a trained, objective counsellor to provide insight and support. With empathetic understanding and encouragement we can move through our difficult times. This is my passion - helping clients to rise above the difficulties of life.
I am empathetic and compassionate in my listening and understanding. My appraoch is flexible and client relatedTechniques such as EFT, Mindfulness Training and relaxation exercises assist my clients to ground themselves. EMDR helps to heal and integrate traumatic memories. Neurofeedback can assist with issues such as anxiety, depression and concentration.
