Lotus flowers grow directly out of muddy and murky waters and produce beautiful white and pink blossoms. Just like the lotus flower, I believe that individuals hold the ability to grow through the dark, murky, muddy times in life, and live their life blossoming, showing off their true potential. As a Specialist Wellness Counsellor, I accompany my clients on their journey of growth and self-discovery.

Person-centered therapy is based on the belief that the client has the all the answers within themselves, and the role of the counsellor is to guide and assist the client in discovering their own true potential. I offer individual sessions, relationship counselling, trauma counselling, as well as a more focused approach called Trauma Incident Reduction.

If you have experienced a trauma, and the impact of that trauma is affecting your daily functioning, there is help available for you. Life can be normal again. I use person-centered therapy in my approach to clients. Like Carl Rogers, I believe that my clients already have the answer within them. I help them find those answers, the power is all within the client. For trauma counselling I use Trauma Incident Reduction to alleviate the impact the trauma has on the client in their daily lives. All of this is done in a safe and accepting space.
