I work with children and adults that are in need of any therapeutic intervention or family assessments such as Residency, Contact and Care Investigations, Socio-Emotional Assessments, Interactional Analysis Investigations, Child Participation (Voice of the Child) and Child Abuse Investigations. I provide services to clients that have been victimised by sexual abuse. My interventions are focused on attachment within the family context, and I have co-developed a program for sex and love addiction. Medical Aid does not cover any assessment evaluations.
I am a registered Social Worker and Family Professional in private practice that specialises in therapy, counselling and family assessments. I am registered for a Master's Degree at the University of Cape Town with a Criminal Justice Social Work focus. I am a Sessional Worker at The Teddy Bear Foundation and Independent Contractor at Partners on Panorama.
I believe in using a strength-based and empowerment approach with my clients as well as an attachment-family-based therapeutic approach for my clients with challenging life experiences to enhance their quality of life.
