My psychotherapeutic stance is accepting and judgment-free. The therapeutic relationship is essential in effective therapy. Based on this, it is crucially important to get to know my clients on a personal level, and for my clients to get to know me. I position myself alongside my clients to collaboratively formulate a focused treatment plan.
My treatment is focused on psychotherapeutic change and the processes that facilitate this. With each client, I commit to understanding the events informing individual context in order to work towards enacting a degree positive of change in their lives.
Together, we establish treatment goals and markers of success. Our entire psychotherapeutic journey is then structured around how to move towards achieving these goals. I enjoy having some theoretical structured process while maintaining a sense of flexibility to be responsive to the here-and-now needs of my clients.
