I focus on couples and individuals experiencing relational and emotional distress. My couple work is a structured approach to build hope, trust and connection whilst guiding the couple into more productive ways of communicating and connecting which allow their needs to be met more effectively. I use primarily Emotionally Focused Therapy and borrowing also from the work of Hedy Shleifer and Imago attachment principles. This is deep work aimed at moving the couple away from pain and negativity, as they are guided on an empowering journey of healing and self discovery.
I work with a trauma and attachment lens using empirically validated modalities to understand underlying patterns in order to target areas for improvement which will move your relationship from disconnection, hurt and distress to safety, connection and joy.
