I offer therapeutic services (in-person and online) in addiction counselling, recovery coaching, and philosophical counselling. I have worked in the mental health field for over 20 years as an addictions counsellor, recovery coach, program and clinical director, program developer and researcher. I am a researcher at the I-System Institute for Transdisciplinary Studies (Utah State University), and a faculty member at the Wayne Institute for Advanced Psychotherapy (Bellarmine University).
I am the author of the books "An Integral Guide to Recovery: Twelve Steps and Beyond," "An Integral Foundation for Addiction Treatment: Beyond the Biopsychosocial Model," co-author of the"Mind-Body Workbook for Addiction: Effective Tools for Relapse Prevention and Recovery" (New Harbinger) and co-author of Social Unrest (Utah State University).
I have published academic articles and book chapters in the fields of addiction studies, theoretical psychology and philosophy. He has been a keynote speaker, plenary participant and presenter at academic conferences and seminars in South Africa, United States and Finland.
