Working with trauma presents as a space that can be messy and produce multiple forms of obstacles, but it is through working with some history that may be hurtful and confusing that growth takes place not only for the client but for me as a counsellor. Identifying that the need is to firstly speak and be heard, held in the moment, guided in understanding their current physical and psychological reactions due to their traumas.
