If you’re figuring out what you want to do with your life and it feels confusing or even overwhelming, I’ve been there so let’s chat. I help clients discover who they are now to become more of who they are not yet so that they can maximize their potential and impact the world. It all starts with exploring who you are and understanding what is happening in the world around you. We take a look at everything together to figure out how it all makes sense for you.

Is it really work if one loves what they do? The reason I became a Social Worker was because I never wanted to work a day in my life but to love what I do. It has always been my desire to help people find solutions to their life problems and I sought for a profession that covered all aspects of human behaviour, i. e psychology, sociology, culture, spiritual & therapy. Now 13 years later, I have never looked back. My experience with clients from diverse backgrounds has been a humbling journey not to mention fulfilling. I continue to hone my craft through continuous professional development to remain relevant to my clients.

I am a Clinical Psychologist in private practice. I offer a non-judgmental environment conducive for growth. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families facing a wide range of mental health difficulties. “I relate, therefore I am. Thus, how I impact on you and how you impact on me determine the nature and quality if our being.” Charl Vorster. I practice from an eclectic approach where interventions are designed based on the client’s needs.

I am passionate about seeing lives changed and clients reaching their full potential, even though there may seem to be no hope. In my sessions I view every individual as unique and do not treat my clients with a “one size fits all approach” I believe that even though clients may have similar problems their experience and the way they view their problems are different from others.

I work in a long term psychoanalytic way which is suitable for patients who would like to work deeply with their issues and feelings. Patients who are hoping to grow in themselves, and enrich their interpersonal experiences would find this a rewarding approach.

At 16, I had a calling to become a psychologist, to help others. Why, I don’t fully know. I just know that helping others and seeing them grow, develop, and express their potential is deeply meaningful and fulfilling. I believe that all change is now, in this moment, in our relationship. When you feel understood, accepted, and safe, you can relate in such a way that, in time, the change you hoped for then is the change happening now. How we relate determines the nature and quality of our being (Vorster, 2011). Living is the expression of wholeness.

I am passionate about seeing how people create meaningful relationships, both with themselves and in their environment, that assists them to develop and self-actualise. The way I work is from an Integrative Interactional Approach, this means that I see the individual as a holistic system, by looking at both the person’s internal psychological processes and how a person relates to their environment. How we interact with ourselves, our environment, and the people around us determines our well-being.
