I aim to enable men and women to thrive by becoming the best version of themselves. The process addresses trauma, anger, stress and anxiety within themselves and their relationships through emotional awareness and practical interventions. During the sessions, I strive to enable my clients to experience physical and emotional relief from stress, anxiety and embodied trauma.

My name is Anke and I recognize your courage in seeking additional support. In our sessions together, I meet you where you are in your head and heart. I create a safe and sacred space, in which we can collaborate to positively impact your healing journey. A favourite quote of mine is from Gabor Maté, who expressed, "Knowing oneself comes from attending with compassionate curiosity to what is happening within". To me, healing is a complex but rewarding journey, that requires empathy towards our inner and external worlds.

When you feel that your life has become unmanageable, it can be difficult to know which direction to go in. It takes bravery to reach out and to admit that you feel overwhelmed. You need a place where you will feel accepted and not judged. I offer on-line addiction counseling sessions to adolescents and adults. I offer a space where you will feel safe and supported. I have worked in the field of addiction for 8 years and I have a degree in Social Sciences, specializing in substance abuse. I work from a positive psychology approach, focusing on a range of treatments such as DBT, CBT and Motivation Interviewing.
