Hello all. I work in private practice and see clients of all ages. Those drawn to my practice tend to seek increased self-awareness and healthier ways of being - within themselves and within the world at large. Some clients come to therapy for a short while, others for longer, but regardless of length, processing work is usually encouraged to help people move forward. EMDR is often used to help process trauma, or any areas where one feels fundamentally stuck. Whether you need to simply talk and feel listened to, or need some deeper work, I am able to meet you where you are at.
I have an MA in Transpersonal Psychotherapy (trained in the UK). This type of psychotherapy acknowledges the holistic aspects of humans - the interlocking nature of mind, body and spirit. My training essentially integrated a wide variety of cognitive and holistic models. Therefore, we may use tools such as dreamwork, inner child work, or gestalt techniques.
I have worked as a therapist for over 20 years in educational settings and in private practice - offering sessions in person and online.
