I am interested in helping individuals to navigate the challenges in their lives and to develop strategies in working towards accessing all their potential to live optimally and claim psychological well-being and mental health. I have had extensive experience as a psychotherapist, counsellor and educator within the field of Psychology. I run an outpatient clinic at Somerset Hospital in which I receive in-patient referrals as well as referrals from the community. I have worked as a therapist in private practice for a number of years.
I work with a whole range of mental health challenges inclusive of depression, Trauma, Anxiety, Loss, Marital and Relationship/Family counselling as well as working with LGBTQI+ community. My focus is on accessing resilience, self acceptance and personal growth in navigating life transitions and psychological pain as well as adapting to change.
I use an Integrative Therapeutic approach which combines person-centred, existential, narrative, psychodynamic, and CBT
