I have devoted most of my career to working predominantly with Eating Disorders and anxiety, and have learned the importance of a balanced approach of both accountability and compassion. Prior to my work in this field, I have always had an interest in women's health issues and my work experience includes obesity, infertility, adoption, addiction, body image, couples therapy and building self esteem in young adults. My approach is holistic and client-centered, as I believe in meeting my clients where they are and walking the journey alongside them.
As an internationally trained yoga teacher I believe in the therapeutic benefit of body based work. I also offer somatic based interventions which is very beneficial for clients who struggle to verbalize their feelings and has proven to be very beneficial for trauma victims, obesity, anxiety and reconnecting with body and emotions.
I have been blessed to be able to help educate and break the stigma around Eating Disorders & related mental health struggles by being involved in campaigns that encourages sharing and asking for help.
