Jamie Zibulsky, Ph.D., is the co-author of Book Smart: How to Develop and Support Successful, Motivated Readers and an Associate Professor of Psychology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. As a school psychologist, she focuses on collaborating with teachers and parents to support children's reading acquisition. Her current research focuses on the interaction between early reading skills and behavioral development, the best strategies for parents to use when supporting young readers, and teacher professional development efforts in the area of literacy. Her research in schools, and clinical work at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Center for Psychological Services, was the inspiration for many chapters in Book Smart.
