Daniel P. Keating, Ph.D., is Professor of Psychology, Psychiatry, and Pediatrics, and Research Professor, Survey Research Center, Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan. His work focuses on developmental differences in individuals and populations, integrating research from biology to social inequality. His most recent book, Born Anxious: The Lifelong Impact of Early Life Adversity—and How to Break the Cycle (2017 from St. Martin’s Press), was awarded the Eleanor Maccoby Book Award in Developmental Psychology by the American Psychological Association.
