Lakeview Behavioral Health is a clinically excellent addiction treatment center in Norcross, Georgia. When a person has become addicted to alcohol, opioids, or other substances and reduces or stops their use of those substances, the distressing symptoms of withdrawal can threaten their commitment to recovery. In some cases, people who try to end their substance use without professional help can risk their health or even their lives. There is a safer and easier way to accomplish the courageous goal of ending substance use. Lakeview Behavioral Health offers a nonmedical detoxification, or detox, program to help patients begin their recovery journeys. Detox at our hospital is a short-term program that can have many long-term advantages. Our patients typically complete detox services in five to seven days. During this time, patients can receive ongoing support from a team of professionals that specializes in the detox process. This team provides evidence-based treatment that can minimize patients’ pain and protect their health. Once patients complete our detox program, they can move to their next level of care to continue developing a solid foundation for recovery.

Manna is located in the Gwinnett County area (northeast corner of Atlanta), just off 85N. Manna provides three levels of care with a variety of issues: PHP (eating disorders, women’s trauma), IOP (eating disorders, women’s trauma, adolescent mental health, family support), and OP, including dietary counseling (LD, RD) and psychiatric services (DNP). Our outpatient services are more generalized and include depression, anxiety, grief and other life issues. We treat all eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder for all populations and use a Family Based Treatment process. We can incorporate principles based in Christianity in the therapeutic process. Nutrition therapy services include weight management, medical nutrition therapy, and improving lifestyle behaviors. Our nurse practitioner can see you on an outpatient basis as well. We believe that mental health issues are a combination of faulty beliefs, biology, and spiritual struggles. Riverwoods Behavioral Health System offers an adult intensive outpatient program (IOP) that accepts individuals age 18 and older who are battling symptoms of addictions and mental health concerns like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression, and schizoaffective disorder. Our adult IOP can be an ideal option for people who are looking for a step-up level of care from traditional outpatient services or for those who do not need the supervision offered at higher levels of care. The therapy options we offer in our intensive outpatient program include individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapies. These therapy sessions may cover topics like coping skills, relapse prevention, conflict resolution, healthy boundaries, and effective communication. Patients in our adult IOP meet three to five days per week, giving them the opportunity to continue working or participating in other activities outside of treatment.
