We use research-based treatments to help our patients with drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and mental and behavioral health issues. Under the guidance of our chief medical officer, our programs are made up of addiction professionals including physicians, registered nurses, licensed marriage and family therapists, social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists. We offer high staff-to-patient ratios to ensure more personal attention for our patients, and many of our staff are in recovery themselves—so they understand what you are going through.

At Dominion Care, our Sequoia Substance Use Program provides passionate, innovative, and therapeutic interventions. Care is what we do. Our program is designed to help people in multiple stages of change by offering multiple group options to meet their needs, as well as individual therapy. We work with people from all backgrounds and levels of treatment. Whether motivated to be fully abstinent or still questioning, we will work with you to help you establish and reach the goals you set for yourself during this time.

Archstone Counseling & Treatment is a collection of therapists who share a similar vision of being trauma-focused and committed to providing quality groups and individual sessions to help clients with trauma, addictions and complex situations. Our main program is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorders. We offer EMDR, a specialized form of trauma therapy and neurofeedback (LENS) which we extend to our IOP clients at no extra charge to the client. Our IOP meets Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. We have an afternoon group that meets from 12 to 3 pm and an evening group that meets from 6 to 9 pm.

Sandstone Care provides substance use, addiction, and mental health treatment for young adults (ages 18 to 30) and adolescents (ages 13 to 18) including Residential Treatment, Day Treatment (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and General Outpatient (OP) programming.

As a premier non-profit behavioral health system, our residential program for boys and girls, ages 6-17, treats a wide range of mental health disorders. We also offer a dual diagnosis program for co-occurring mental health illness and substance abuse. We are TRICARE-approved, with expertise and focused concentration is helping children from military families throughout the U.S. and overseas. Our 32-acre open college-like campus on the border of Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Virginia. In addition, The Barry Robinson offers an Intensive Outpatient program (IOP) for adolescents and young adults (18-24) with diagnoses including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD and who use drugs or alcohol. This service is currently offered at our Norfolk location as well as through Telehealth communications. Intensive Outpatient program is not specific to only military families.

Safe Harbor Recovery Center, located in Portsmouth, Virginia, serves men and women who have been diagnosed with substance use disorders. Many of our clients struggle with addiction to alcohol, prescription opioids, heroin, methamphetamines, cocaine, and a variety of other drugs. Jackson-Feild Behavioral Health Services provides evidence-based intensive therapeutic treatment services for adolescents ages 11 to 17 who have experienced trauma, mental illness and other related issues during their young lives. Our multimodal, uniquely designed trauma focused cognitive behavioral treatment and additional evidence based trauma therapies are especially effective in helping children who have mental illness, personality disorders, emotional intensity disorders and behavioral issues and are victims of physical and/or sexual abuse, neglect and have poor familial relationships. Cross Keys Equine Therapy provides equine-assisted services to individuals, couples, families and groups, which is separated into Trauma-Focused Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (TF-EAP) and Trauma-Informed Equine Assisted Learning (TI-EAL). We help our clients take ownership of truths in their lives by allowing horses to teach them how to be authentic, and present; how to seek open and honest communication with others; and how to take care of themselves by giving and receiving trust and respect. Front Royal Treatment Center, a Pinnacle Treatment Centers facility, in Front Royal, Virginia, is an outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP) providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone) to people struggling with opioid use disorder or addiction to opioids, heroin, synthetic opioids like fentanyl, and prescription painkillers oxycodone (OxyContin), hydrocodone (Vicodin), codeine, and morphine.
