Adult Partial Hospitalization Program
Tower Behavioral Health is an outpatient mental health treatment center that offers partial hospitalization programming for adults who are struggling with mental health disorders and co-occurring addictions. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is designed to provide a structured environment for patients who need comprehensive services but do not require 24/7 supervision. We treat a variety of mental health conditions, including bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, and addiction. Admissions decisions for the program are made on an individual basis after each patient completes a thorough assessment. This assessment allows our staff to gather information regarding all aspects of a person’s medical, psychological, and social history so that we can determine if our program offers the type of care that will address their specific treatment needs. The average length of stay in our PHP is eight to 12 days. Treatment Approach
Based on their initial assessment, adults in the partial hospitalization program at our treatment center receive a care plan that is tailored to their specific needs and goals. Tower Behavioral Health’s PHP includes services such as group therapy, family therapy, experiential therapy, and medication management. The specific services a patient receives are outlined in their individualized treatment plan. We believe that our PHP is an ideal level of care in which patients can get support from professionals and other individuals who have had similar experiences. Topics such as emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness are covered in daily group therapy sessions, and we provide lunch, during which time patients can further socialize with one another. At Tower Behavioral Health, we use numerous treatment modalities, such as gestalt therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy, to help each patient learn to manage their symptoms. Located on a stunning, 83-acre campus in Reading, Pennsylvania, Tower Behavioral Health provides a peaceful environment where patients can receive well-rounded care as they begin the healing process. Our partial hospitalization program allows patients to receive daylong treatment in a structured setting while having the freedom to return home in the evenings. We believe that all patients who come to our treatment center deserve to feel like they are in a safe, judgment-free zone. During their time in our PHP, patients may have the opportunity to work with skilled therapists, licensed professional counselors, recreational therapists, registered nurses, and behavioral health technicians.
