The Retreat of Atlanta Inpatient Detox Program
Detox is the critical first step in the addiction treatment process that involves ridding the body of addictive substances under the guidance and care of medical professionals. The Retreat of Atlanta's Detox Program provides a safe, comfortable environment where individuals can detox prior to beginning their individualized residential or outpatient treatment programs. When appropriate, individuals are prescribed medications intended to make the detox experience as comfortable as possible. The detox treatment is done under the care of 24 hour nursing staff under the guidance of our medical director. Retreat of Atlanta's Residential Treatment Program
Retreat of Atlanta's Residential Treatment Program mainly serves as the initial step-down from the Detoxification Program. After a client has detoxified completely and is no longer required to have medical stabilization, most patients move on to residential treatment to further stabilize, while not being on detoxification medication. The level of care provides critical support and care for individuals living with addiction or alcoholism who have recently completed detox.
