Erlanger Behavioral Health Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, provides personalized inpatient treatment for adults age 18 and older. Our hospital serves patients who have anxiety, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, and other mental health disorders. We also care for those who are struggling with addiction. Inpatient treatment is a short-term service, with the goal of stabilizing patients so that they can return home or step down to a lower level of care. Typical length of stay at our hospital is seven to 12 days. During that time, a person’s care may include basic medical care, medication management services, detoxification, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy. Our team works closely with each patient to explain the features and benefits of each service. We are also available to answer any questions patients may have at any time. Before they transition out of our inpatient program, all patients receive a discharge plan to guide their continued progress.

Apex Recovery serves the behavioral health needs of people in Franklin TN and the wider Nashville and TN area, providing outpatient care for addiction, including IOP and individual therapy to cater for those with substance use, mental health, or co-occurring disorders.

Each school-age patient who participates in our adolescent residential programs can continue to get a traditional education through our school, The Village Academy, located on the Village Behavioral Health campus. The Village Academy is a private school that has been approved by the Tennessee State Department of Education and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). Our school staff includes qualified administrators and full-time credentialed teachers who are state-licensed in English, mathematics, social studies, and natural sciences. The Village Academy provides remedial and special education services for students who have emotional concerns and learning differences. Our teachers work closely with each student’s previous school, and each student completes an evaluation that can give us insight into their educational needs. This information can help us design an individual academic plan for each patient. Because The Village Academy is fully accredited, students can complete all high school graduation requirements at our school if needed.

Our mission is to remove barriers for those seeking treatment for drug addiction, substance and alcohol use disorders. Patients can remain at home and work while incorporating treatment into their daily lives with telemedicine on-line visits and/or in-person visits. Our patient care team is led by fellowship trained and board certified physician specialists in addiction medicine and family medicine. IAC physicians working with our experienced social workers and therapists will assess and develop a plan with patients for their physical, emotional, mental, and social health. Our Memphis and Jackson TN drug rehabilitation center is a model of integrated, wraparound care catering to the needs of each patient and supporting each patient.
