Sussex County Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a premier provider of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older. Our outpatient treatment center serves adults who are struggling with addictions to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids. Medication-assisted treatment is a research-backed approach that uses prescription medication and counseling to promote long-term recovery from opioid addictions. At Sussex County CTC, each patient receives a prescription for an FDA-approved medication that has proved effective in treating opioid use disorder. The medications that are available as part of MAT will vary across clinics in our network but may include methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, Vivitrol, and Sublocade. Each patient begins their treatment journey at our CTC with a comprehensive assessment. Additionally, at our methadone clinic and outpatient treatment center, we understand the value of working on the social, emotional, and behavioral challenges of long-term recovery. Our Comprehensive Treatment Center serves residents of Georgetown, Delaware, and surrounding communities. We are conveniently located near U.S. Route 113 and just 20 miles west of Rehoboth Beach. Increasing access to opioid addiction treatment is a priority at our CTC, so we’re pleased to offer a comprehensive set of services for patients. In addition to providing in-person counseling services, we offer telehealth counseling for patients. Before you begin treatment in our MAT program, you will receive a thorough assessment to help ensure that the care we provide can meet your needs. During intake, potential patients typically complete a physical exam, provide a urine sample for a drug screen, complete a TB test, and review treatment goals to help create their care plan.
