Cultivating Growth & Wellness
At Secure Base Counseling Center, we’re committed to providing you with the most exceptional care in a compassionate and friendly atmosphere. Our goal is to help you find your secure base. We offer a variety of therapeutic services to children (including birth to five), adolescents, teens, and adults through individual, family, and/or couples therapy. In addition to individual and family psychotherapy, we offer various psychotherapy groups, DBT services, ARMHS services, CTSS services, skills groups, classes, and professional seminars. We also administer DC-05 assessments, Prepare/Enrich assessments, and diagnostic assessments. Our services are offered in a variety of locations. You can visit one of our three therapy offices, receive services in your home, or even online through our video chat teletherapy service.
Trauma-Informed and Strength Based Services
Providers at SBCC are trained to be trauma-informed and systemic, meaning they look at the person from the context of their family and larger cultural systems. Providers at SBCC are strengths-based and view the client as the expert on their own lives.

DBT Intensive Outpatient Programs

We offer Adult DBT IOP (18+) and Adolescent DBT IOP (12-17). Both Programs Include: One hour of individual therapy with a DBT-trained therapist and Two hours of DBT Skills Training Group weekly. Most clients will participate in the DBT program for between six to twelve months. DBT utilizes mindful awareness to help people increase their emotional and cognitive regulation by learning about the triggers that lead to reactive states, and helping to assess which coping skills to apply in the sequence of events, thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to help avoid undesired reactions.
