Founded in 2008 Second Chance Counseling Centers mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to break the cycle of addiction and adjust to new positive lifestyle changes. We strive to transform lives, while giving hope and healing to those affected by alcohol or drug addiction and Dual-Diagnose individuals. We value honesty, accountability and transparency in our programs, and we believe the client must be our primary focus. Often our clients may not want to attend treatment but they stay because their lives start to improve as their self-esteem, self-worth and confidence returns. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to treat the whole person, not just the addiction. It is designed for people whose needs and schedules vary, and we offer flexible treatment hours to work with your schedule allowing you to find recovery from a substance use disorder without putting your life on hold.
We work with alcohol and substance abuse issues, with topics on disease concept of addiction, defense mechanisms, changing behavior, negative thinking, anger and stress management, relationship rebuilding, self-care, alternative sober activities, substance abuse triggers, and relapse prevention being addressed to help our clients maintain day to day sobriety. We offer client support for Medical Assisted Treatment (MAT). Our goal is to reduce the barriers that may be keeping our clients from seeking the professional care they deserve, we are committed to making sure they receive professional care during times when being physically present is not possible. Therefore; We now offer HIPPA-Compliant Telehealth services along our continuum of care. Clients can engage in our Telehealth programs from anywhere in the state of Ohio. You can participate from your smartphone, computer or other devices. We offer Telehealth as part of our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Individual Outpatient Counseling, comprehensive Alcohol and Drug Assessments, Intervention In Lieu of Conviction Assessment, and our DOT/SAP Evaluations.
