Adolescent Residential Treatment
Rolling Hills Hospital offers a premier residential treatment program for adolescents in Ada, Oklahoma. This program is for young people ages 12-17 who are struggling with mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, and suicidal ideation. Our residential programming is designed to help adolescents address the unique emotional challenges that can affect young people their age. We strive to provide a warm and welcoming space where they can learn to manage their symptoms, have guided discussions with their peers, and prepare for a future beyond treatment. Patients typically remain in our residential program for four to six weeks, depending on their unique needs and circumstances. The main goal of our adolescent residential program is to help youths heal from mental health challenges so that they can thrive and function in their everyday lives. Treatment Approach
At Rolling Hills Hospital, each adolescent's care begins with a detailed assessment performed by a member of our intake staff. This comprehensive evaluation helps our team learn more about each patient’s needs and allows us to customize their care accordingly. During their time in our care, youths meet with a psychiatrist three times a week and attend individual therapy sessions for a minimum of two hours each week. Patients participate in process and expressive group therapies on a frequent basis, and topics of discussion may include coping skills, anger management, and mental health education. Patients also have the option of engaging in family therapy sessions in person or virtually. These services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals that may include psychologists, nurses, therapists, social workers, behavioral health technicians, and counselors.
