Serving Children and Adults in the Southeast
Compassion, empathy and highly skilled healthcare form the foundation upon which Parkridge Valley provides treatment for mental, emotional and behavioral health conditions. Our four campuses are located across nearly 70 miles, ranging from Cleveland, Tennessee, to Jasper, Tennessee, and our reach extends far beyond. We are staffed by psychiatrists, therapists, counselors and other specialists who offer unparalleled expertise in treating different mental health disorders. All of our campuses provide treatment in safe, compassionate environments. Partial Hospitalization Program-PHP
Partial Hospitalization (PHP) is a psychotherapeutic day treatment program that is less intense than inpatient psychiatric care but provides more structure and intervention that traditional outpatient counseling and medication management. PHP is tailored to meet each patient's special needs and designed to help adults achieve long-term abstinence and recovery while maintaining their normal lifestyles. The program consists of daily group therapy, educational information about mental illness, medication management, stress management, process groups and classes on improving coping skills. Clients are often involved with treatment for one to two weeks and are assisted with continuing treatment by stepping down to the Intensive Outpatient Program or with physicians and therapists on an outpatient basis after discharge. Intensive Outpatient Program-IOP
The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Parkridge Valley is a non-medical therapeutic program designed for adults to address emotional, mental health and/or substance abuse issues. This environment provides a bridge between traditional outpatient models and the structure of a therapeutic community. The IOP allows patients to get the help they need, while continuing their daily life with minimal disruptions. For our patients’ convenience, we offer daytime and nighttime IOPs at our campuses in Chattanooga and Cleveland. The program is three hours per day, Monday through Friday, and patients are often involved with treatment for two to three weeks on average. Take the first step to help.
