At our treatment center in Columbus, Ohio, we provide a detox program for those who are struggling with addictions to various substances, including alcohol, heroin and other opioids, and benzodiazepines. In our on-site medical detox program, we deliver high-quality medical and therapeutic support to help adults safely rid their bodies of the substances they have been using. This process can help minimize the discomfort of withdrawal and promote patients’ health and physical well-being as they take their next steps toward long-term recovery. Adults usually remain in our detox program for about three days, depending on their needs. At all times, they follow an individualized treatment plan that is designed to support them and help them achieve their recovery goals.

Our clients face challenges related to substance use, including the need for safe detox, emotional support, and personalized care that addresses their unique situations. Many of our clients also struggle with co-occurring mental health issues, trauma, or other underlying factors contributing to their substance use. The Hull Institute has specialized in the treatment of eating disorders for over 20 years. We are a private outpatient practice working with individuals of all ages (8-80) and backgrounds with disordered eating or an eating disorder. We have 12 therapists and 5 dietitians, all specially trained in helping people recover from an eating disorder. People who come to us often also have anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma and/or addictions. We will treat all of them together.
