The Hull Institute has specialized in the treatment of eating disorders for over 20 years. We are a private outpatient practice working with individuals of all ages (8-80) and backgrounds with disordered eating or an eating disorder. We have 12 therapists and 5 dietitians, all specially trained in helping people recover from an eating disorder. People who come to us often also have anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma and/or addictions. We will treat all of them together.

MAT is an evidence-based approach to opioid addiction treatment that combines prescription medication and counseling to promote patients’ long-term recovery. Over time, MAT has become widely recognized and endorsed as an effective treatment approach for opioid addiction by respected organizations such as the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and the World Health Organization (WHO). The prescription medications used in MAT can ease the distressing symptoms and cravings involved in opioid withdrawal, making it easier for patients to focus on recovery. Therapy sessions can give patients the opportunity to learn relapse prevention strategies and conflict resolution skills. By addressing the physical and emotional aspects of opioid addiction, MAT can help increase treatment retention, improve social functioning, and positively impact recovery.
