At Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital, youths who are suffering from acute symptoms of mental health disorders can receive round-the-clock care in our premier adolescent inpatient program. We provide highly effective treatment for adolescents ages 13-17 who are struggling with a variety of behavioral health concerns. Youths in the inpatient program receive intensive services in a safe and supervised setting. Our goal is to help them stabilize and regain a sense of well-being so that they can make progress toward healing. Generally, adolescents remain in the program for four to seven days, depending on the severity of their symptoms. During this time, our multidisciplinary team provides 24/7 monitoring and emotional support while guiding each patient through transformative programming. Our staff has extensive experience working with young people and a shared goal of providing age-appropriate treatment that can help each patient get on the path to better health. Adolescents in this program receive care according to their needs. Treatment plans may include medical care, medication management services, individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.

At Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital, our continuum of care includes an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adolescents ages 13-17 who are suffering from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, hallucinations, mood swings, self-harm, suicidal/homicidal ideation, and other concerns. Patients may enter the IOP directly or after completing a higher level of care, such as inpatient treatment. Program duration is determined on a case-by-case basis, with the average stay lasting from four to six weeks. Patients attend treatment Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday of each week for three hours a day. The flexible schedule of our IOP allows patients to continue attending school and participating in other daily living activities while also receiving the focused care they need. For those who are unable to take part in in-person treatment or can benefit from virtual services, we offer telehealth options. In both settings, patients engage in care that is tailored to meet their unique needs. With our help, your child can learn to manage their symptoms and embark on a path to lasting wellness.

Mansfield Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is located in Mansfield, Ohio, and provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older. MAT is specifically designed to help people who are struggling with addictions to heroin, prescription painkillers, and other opioids experience milder withdrawal symptoms, have fewer cravings, and maintain recovery. Many people might desire to stop using opioids, but the distressing symptoms of withdrawal make long-term recovery extremely difficult. MAT includes the administration of FDA-approved medications like methadone to help alleviate withdrawal symptoms and promote lasting freedom from opioids. In addition to medication, MAT at our CTC includes group and individual therapy sessions to address the psychological elements of addiction. Therapy sessions focus on teaching healthy coping skills to deal with stress, negative emotions, and challenges that may arise during recovery. This can include techniques such as problem-solving, stress management, mindfulness, and emotion regulation.

Mount Carmel Behavioral Health is a premier provider of outpatient services for adults age 18 and older. In our intensive outpatient program (IOP), we help individuals who are living with moderate symptoms of behavioral health concerns learn the skills they need to achieve a better quality of life. We treat a variety of mental health disorders as well as co-occurring substance use disorders. Patients may begin treatment at the IOP level or step down to the program from a higher level of care, such as inpatient or residential programming. The IOP can be an ideal option for those who do not require round-the-clock care but may benefit from structured, professional mental healthcare services. Patients in the IOP attend programming three days a week for three hours each day. The flexible schedule of an IOP can make it a desirable option for people who need to continue fulfilling their daily commitments while also receiving treatment.
