The Hull Institute has specialized in the treatment of eating disorders for over 20 years. We are a private outpatient practice working with individuals of all ages (8-80) and backgrounds with disordered eating or an eating disorder. We have 12 therapists and 5 dietitians, all specially trained in helping people recover from an eating disorder. People who come to us often also have anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma and/or addictions. We will treat all of them together.

Our evidence based program is for adults 18 and over with symptoms that are disruptive to their lives. This program can be started at any time. The DBT/CBT skills are taught in an accepting, non-judgmental, validating environment. The focus is on those who suffer from Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorders, Chronic Pain, PTSD, OCD, Medical Issues causing Psychological Distress, Social Anxiety and those who need Coping Skills. We have three IOPs geared toward Mental Health. Two IOPs are DBT focused, one in the morning and one in the evening. The third IOP is a Health and Wellness IOP focused on those suffering with an acute or chronic Mental Health condition. You may require additional support as you transition back to your daily routine, and we will strive to ensure that you have the resources you need to navigate life after treatment confidently. Each person who completes programming at our treatment center receives an aftercare plan that can help them make progress toward their long-term goals. Discharge planning begins at the start of treatment and involves input from the patient, their referral source, and members of their support system as well as their clinical services team and psychiatrist. Recommendations for follow-up services depend on the individual needs of the patient and may include outpatient medication management or therapy, local support groups, case management, or a lower level of care.
