Mental Health and Addiction Treatment Counseling
Inspired to bring hope and change to the Knoxville community, New Hope Healthcare Institute was started by family members who have been directly affected by addiction. We are a team of professionals that go above and beyond to provide exceptional care for our patients and their families. Our team consists of Psychiatrists, Doctors, Therapists, Addiction Counselors, Tutors, and Direct Care Staff that ensure your loved one gets the attention and care that they deserve. Partial hospitalization is a form of outpatient treatment that involves partial daycare at New Hope Health, while receiving treatment for drug, alcohol or mental illness. We offer PHP programs to treat substance abuse and addiction. Once a client completes their detox and inpatient treatment, PHP is a transition step that comes after, or as an alternative to inpatient treatment, depending on patient’s needs. For individuals suffering from co-occurring mental health issues PHP may provide a more intensive level of care than an outpatient program. A typical day in a Partial Hospitalization Program may include group therapy, psych-educational groups, skill building, and individual therapy. Teen Programming
Teens and adolescents abuse drugs and/or alcohol for various reasons, ranging from peer pressure and showing independence, to overcoming depression or anxiety. The risk of your teen becoming an addict can substantially go up if there are factors such as a family history of addiction, mental issues or disorders, childhood trauma, or problems at school. We have a team of caring professionals at New Hope Healthcare who understand the complexities of how your teen might be experiencing co-occurring disorders due to addiction and mental health factors. We offer treatment services specifically for teens to overcome their addiction so that the family can heal as a whole. Adult Treatment
At Newhope Healthcare Institute in Knoxville, we offer a variety of treatment options. We are fully equipped to handle the most complex cases, as well as those who may feel they need more time to heal before transitioning back into their normal routine. Our treatment options include a quality intensive outpatient program, which provides strong support for newly sober adults who no longer suffer from withdrawal symptoms. This is a recommended option after the completion of a residential program and is part of our individualized treatment plans for managing addiction and mental health needs.
