Carolina House, located in Durham, North Carolina, provides residential eating disorder treatment for people who are struggling with anorexia, bulimia, and other eating disorders. We also offer comprehensive treatment for people who have co-occurring mental health concerns. We provide care at two locations: Our first facility is designed for women age 17 and older, and our second facility serves adults age 18 and older of all genders. The goal of both residential treatment programs is to help people find healing and lasting freedom from the burdens of eating disorders. The average length of stay at this level of care is 30-60 days, but each person’s actual length of stay depends on their unique needs. Treatment at our facility incorporates a number of therapies, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), motivational interviewing (MI), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). While in treatment, clients can also benefit from medical care, medication management services, and individual, group, family, and experiential therapies.

We provide inclusive and affirming in-person psychotherapy and counseling services to children, adults, couples and families in our locations in Durham & Raleigh, and telehealth therapy services to anyone in North Carolina who wish to heal and grow into their best life. We treat a wide range of conditions including depression, post traumatic stress disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, prolonged grief, eating disorders, interpersonal and relationship distress, anger problems, non-suicidal self injury, adjustment problems, and addictive disorders in individual, couple, family and group formats. The Emily Program offers specialty treatment for eating disorders dedicated to giving all people access to best-practice care and the tools they need for lasting recovery. The Emily Program offers all levels of care, from 24/7 inpatient care through outpatient services across multiple states. In-person and virtual treatment options are available. Multidisciplinary treatment teams aim to equip individuals, families, and communities with the skills necessary to continue recovery in the home environment. When someone participates in our intensive outpatient program, partial hospitalization program, or residential treatment program, they will receive a comprehensive discharge plan that includes recommendations for various continuing care services to support long-term recovery. These services may consist of outpatient primary care, sessions with a therapist or psychiatrist, consultations with a dietitian, support groups, and educational resources. Our clinical team works closely with each client and their loved ones throughout the treatment process to create and modify the client’s discharge plan based on their specific needs. Sea Coast Recovery is a day treatment program providing substance abuse treatment to individuals battling an addiction problem. We treat adults, ages 18 and up. Our Mission is to empower individuals through a holistic perspective to develop tools to recover from addiction and the impact it has caused on their lives, through prevention, education, crisis management, and treatment services. Clients will gain an understanding of addiction, develop coping skills, practice mindfulness techniques, and practice coping skills in the community so that they can retrain their brain how to live a fulfilled life.

Green Hill focuses on helping 18-30 year old clients develop the skills needed to maintain healthy sobriety and lead successful lives. Wilmington Treatment Center is a premier addiction rehabilitation center located in the beautiful coastal town of Wilmington, North Carolina. We accept patients age 18 and older who are struggling with symptoms of substance use disorders and certain co-occurring mental health concerns. We are dedicated to using an individualized approach to treatment and customize each patient’s treatment plan according to their unique needs and goals. We offer several programming options to meet patients where they are on the journey to healing, including a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that supports patients who need structure without 24-hour supervision. Though many of our PHP patients begin in our detox or residential program, we have some patients who begin treatment at the PHP level. This program typically lasts up to 28 days; however, the actual duration will depend on the personal needs of the patient.

The Pines at Holly Hill Adult (18+) and Adolescent (13-17 years old) Outpatient offers two programs: Partial Hospitalization (Mon-Fri from 8:45am-2:00pm) and Intensive Outpatient: (Mon-Wed-Fri from 8:45am-12:00pm). Led by our Director of Outpatient and staffed with a team of medical professionals (Psychiatrists, Therapists and Registered Nurse), each program uses elements of evidence-based practice such as Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help patients in need of more supportive treatment.
