When you’ve been suffering from an addiction, taking time away from your regular routines to participate in a residential program can make a positive difference for your recovery. At Burkwood Treatment Center, we strive to set the standard for residential addiction care by delivering a premier rehab program for adults age 18 and older. Our residential rehab program has many unique features that may set it apart from other programs. These include a counselor-to-client ratio of 1-to-8, a dedicated recovery curriculum called the Way of Life System, and staff members who specialize in delivering focused treatment modalities, including Making Alcoholics Anonymous Easier (MAAEZ) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). In our residential program, adults who have a variety of addictions and co-occurring mental health concerns spend around six weeks receiving personalized care at our facility. Our average length of stay is 39 days, and clients receive customized support to plan for their ongoing recovery needs when residential treatment ends.

PrairieCare provides each individual patient the psychiatric care truly needed with specialized psychiatric services for all ages. Our comprehensive care includes Inpatient Hospitalization focused on safety and stabilization, to address acute health and safety concerns; Residential Services for youth ages 10 to 18, with an average length of stay between two and four months; Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers intensive crisis stabilization, specialized psychiatric assessment, and intensive therapeutic services; Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) offering programming four or five days per week, with psychoeducation and group sessions; and Clinic/Outpatient Clinic Services providing specialized psychotherapy, psychiatry, medication management, and evaluation. We also have Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy services at our Edina and Woodbury locations near Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Welcome to Hazelden Betty Ford’s nationally recognized addiction and mental health treatment center for teens and young adults (ages 12-25), specializing in comprehensive residential and outpatient care for co-occurring disorders. Substance abuse issues can be complex to diagnose and treat in adolescence/young adulthood, especially when other mental health challenges like depression, anxiety or ADHD are also in the picture. For example, symptoms of depression can become more severe with substance use and, vice versa, substance use issues can intensify as depression worsens. At Hazelden Betty Ford, multidisciplinary care teams—psychiatrists, nurses, mental health therapists, addiction counselors—work in concert to develop each patient’s personalized treatment plan and effectively address all the complexities, all together. Unlike most other teen/young adult dual diagnosis rehab centers, our psychiatrists, medical staff and counselors are on site to provide continuous care and address needs as they arise. Founded in 2011, Catalyst Mental Health was started with the goal of serving clients with mental health issues and concerns that don't fit easily into any single box: clients who either have multiple issues occurring simultaneously or who have complex conditions that don't align well with traditional diagnostic definitions. This includes individuals with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, chemical dependency issues, sexual and gender identity issues, compulsive behavior, autism spectrum disorders, attention or focusing problems, relationship or marital conflict, and much more. Our primary focus is helping children and adolescents ages 8-18 with behavioral and emotional struggles. We use an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that helps kids return to healthy, stable and productive lives. Our whole-body approach promotes adequate nutrition, sleep, exercise and especially time in the outdoors. Using telehealth, we continue to provide individual therapy for youth and adults, family therapy sessions, intensive programming – including group therapy – and medication management.
