Sanford Outpatient Center for Addiction Treatment is conveniently located 12 minutes from Greater Grand Rapids, in Marne, Michigan. We offer substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health treatment to adults 18 or older. Programs are offered in person or via telehealth. The Outpatient Center has flexible, innovative, individualized recovery programs for those with work, child care, school, or other obligations. Outpatient treatment allows for continuing everyday activities while integrating effective strategies to manage recovery. Sanford Outpatient Center is a great place to gather for treatment and community support. A psychiatrist-led multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical professionals backs all our programs. Programs and services include medical and psychiatric assessments, medical detox, day programs (PHP), half-day programs (IOP only 3 hours a day 3 days a week), outpatient groups, medication management & MAT, post-acute detox, alums & family support, and supportive living. Our facility is comfortable and beautiful, with custom furniture, original artwork, a beverage station, the Sanford Café, a discreet entrance, and free parking.

StoneCrest Center provides premier inpatient programming for adults ages 18-54 and senior adults age 55 and older who are struggling with mental health disorders, developmental concerns, and co-occurring substance use disorders. In our inpatient programming, we offer intensive support for people who have acute symptoms of a number of behavioral health concerns, such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, dementia, psychosis, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Those who participate in our inpatient programming can benefit from the combined experience of our expert team, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, registered nurses, activity coordinators, and dietitians. This team works with each patient to design an individualized treatment plan that is based on the patient’s background and therapeutic goals. Treatment plans at StoneCrest Center may include individual and family therapy sessions as needed as well as daily group therapy sessions. We also provide recreational therapies, such as pet, art, and music therapies. The typical length of stay in our adult inpatient program is around 11-14 days.

Our practice offers a variety of services to meet the needs of our clients. These services include, individual, group, family, and couples counseling, medication management, and neuropsychological testing. Sanford Comprehensive Treatment for Eating Disorders (Sanford CTED) offers a full continuum of care for eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. This includes our NEW virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP). We are located 12 minutes from Grand Rapids, in Marne, Michigan. Programs are residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient, and outpatient groups. Therapy takes place in healing groups, individual sessions, and outpatient. We utilize CBT, DBT, ACT, exposure therapy, interpersonal, and family systems therapy. Clinical therapists and registered dieticians lead the groups. Emotion-focused family therapy (EFFT) is our primary family modality. Therapy includes immediate family members whenever possible, especially younger individuals still at home. We practice a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, which honors body diversity and encourages movement for health and enjoyment, not to lose weight. Our ultimate goal for everyone we treat is to return to intuitive eating behaviors – eat when hungry, and stop when full.

At StoneCrest Center, we offer an adolescent inpatient program for youths ages 12-17 who have mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. Because young people are going through developmental changes, we believe that the most effective behavioral healthcare is age-specific. We strive to provide developmentally appropriate treatments and services that meet each young person where they are in their healing journey. During their time in our inpatient program, adolescent patients can participate in therapy sessions led by social workers and activity therapists. In group therapy sessions, youths get the chance to meet their peers and share support and encouragement. In these sessions, they can also receive education on topics such as trauma, coping skills, self-esteem, and healthy boundaries. Additionally, adolescent patients whose treatment plans include medication can receive daily medication management services from psychiatrists and nurses.

These concerns include depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, self-harm, and psychosis. When you participate in our quality behavioral healthcare programming, you will follow a customized treatment plan, which our staff will create for you based on your unique needs and therapeutic goals. Additionally, when you participate in adult inpatient treatment, you will have the support of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. At our hospital, your care team can include psychiatrists, social workers, counselors, registered nurses, a psychologist, and other experts and program staff. The typical length of stay in our adult inpatient program is about five to seven days, though your actual length of stay may vary depending on your needs and the progress you make during treatment.
