Bronson Behavioral Health Hospital provides a premier inpatient program for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. We offer intensive support in a safe setting for people who have acute symptoms of a variety of behavioral health concerns. These concerns include depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, self-harm, and psychosis. When you participate in our quality behavioral healthcare programming, you will follow a customized treatment plan, which our staff will create for you based on your unique needs and therapeutic goals. Additionally, when you participate in adult inpatient treatment, you will have the support of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. At our hospital, your care team can include psychiatrists, social workers, counselors, registered nurses, a psychologist, and other experts and program staff. The typical length of stay in our adult inpatient program is about five to seven days, though your actual length of stay may vary depending on your needs and the progress you make during treatment.

Emotion-focused family therapy (EFFT) is our primary family modality. Therapy includes immediate family members whenever possible, especially younger individuals still at home. Our Rapid 4-Day Opiate Detox Procedure is for patients addicted or dependent on heroin, pills, Suboxone, Methadone, and Fentanyl and Kratom. Day 1- patient completes intake paperwork, lab work, physical & psychological exam. We include a private room, private bathroom, flat-screen TV, WIFI and all meals are included. Day 2- patient is taken to the ICU, under the care of Award Winning, Board Certified Anesthesiologist & Addiction Specialist, Dr. Julia Aharonov. The patient receives IV Sedation and sleeps through withdrawals while closely monitored by the nursing staff. After the opiate reversal, the patient receives an FDA Approved Vivitrol® injection. Day 3- The patient comes back to their private room with 24-hour medical staff, and rests and recuperates for the day. If they experience any post-acute withdrawals, they are given non-addictive medications and receives those medications to take home. The next morning, after meeting with Dr. Aharonov, they are free to go home. Once your detox is complete, you are eligible for our detox-related aftercare. Financing is available.

We offer substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health treatment to adults 18 or older. Programs are offered in person or via telehealth. The Outpatient Center has flexible, innovative, individualized recovery programs for those with work, child care, school, or other obligations. Outpatient treatment allows for continuing everyday activities while integrating effective strategies to manage recovery. Sanford Outpatient Center is a great place to gather for treatment and community support. A psychiatrist-led multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical professionals backs all our programs. Programs and services include medical and psychiatric assessments, medical detox, day programs (PHP), half-day programs (IOP only 3 hours a day 3 days a week), outpatient groups, medication management & MAT, post-acute detox, alums & family support, and supportive living.
