In 2024, Sanford Behavioral Health opened its virtual intensive outpatient program for primary mental health conditions. This means individuals with Anxiety, Depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, and Schizoaffective Disorder. We also treat other mental health conditions through our mental health rehab programs. Our Mental Health Outpatient Therapy Program is conducted via telehealth and ensures a seamless transition from the virtual intensive outpatient level of care. At Harbor Oaks Hospital, we provide an efficient admissions process, with intake staff available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help people get the care they need quickly. Potential patients can contact our intake department by phone or through our website. Before admission to our depression treatment program, our team conducts an assessment for each potential patient that helps us determine if our facility is right for them. We can also verify benefits with their health insurance provider at this time. Following the individual’s evaluation, one of our doctors recommends the most appropriate level of care for them. Our team is dedicated to helping each person who turns to us for support take the first brave step toward a brighter, happier future. Harbor Oaks Hospital offers a premier inpatient program for children and adolescents ages 4-17 who are struggling with disruptive symptoms of mental health concerns. In the pediatric inpatient program, we provide separate units for children and teens, including a specialized inpatient pediatric unit (SIPU) for those who have an autism spectrum disorder or intellectual disability diagnosis. The average length of stay in the inpatient program is seven to 10 days, although patients in the SIPU may require a longer length of stay, typically 14-28 days. We strive to meet each young person where they are on their journey to improved wellness, providing them with the focused support and age-appropriate services they need to get well. During treatment, our patients receive evidence-based care that can include cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. Our team understands that children and adolescents may respond differently to certain therapies, and we are committed to getting to know our patients personally so that we can provide them with the most effective interventions for their needs.

Our Rapid 4-Day Opiate Detox Procedure is for patients addicted or dependent on heroin, pills, Suboxone, Methadone, and Fentanyl and Kratom. Day 1- patient completes intake paperwork, lab work, physical & psychological exam. We include a private room, private bathroom, flat-screen TV, WIFI and all meals are included. Day 2- patient is taken to the ICU, under the care of Award Winning, Board Certified Anesthesiologist & Addiction Specialist, Dr. Julia Aharonov. The patient receives IV Sedation and sleeps through withdrawals while closely monitored by the nursing staff. After the opiate reversal, the patient receives an FDA Approved Vivitrol® injection. Day 3- The patient comes back to their private room with 24-hour medical staff, and rests and recuperates for the day. If they experience any post-acute withdrawals, they are given non-addictive medications and receives those medications to take home. The next morning, after meeting with Dr. Aharonov, they are free to go home. Once your detox is complete, you are eligible for our detox-related aftercare. Financing is available.
