The Counseling Center is an outpatient treatment center offering an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Outpatient Programs, and PHP services to help people recover from substance abuse and cope with mental illness. Programs at The Counseling Center provide evidence-based methods that combine substance abuse treatment with principles of the 12-steps. Treatment is individualized and designed to teach the necessary skills to live a clean, sober, and productive life.

Fitchburg Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is located in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, and specializes in providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who have opioid addictions. MAT combines the use of prescription medication with counseling. This approach has proved to be successful in helping patients maintain recovery. Unlike some methadone clinics that only provide one kind of medication, we offer methadone and Suboxone to address opioid cravings and withdrawal symptoms. These medications can help patients stop using opioids without experiencing painful symptoms of withdrawal. While medication can treat the physical aspect of opioid addiction, MAT includes a therapy component to address the emotional and psychological aspects of addiction. This patient-centered approach to treatment aims to help people feel empowered and motivated to overcome opioid addiction and thrive.

Located in Stockbridge, MA, with a national referral base, the Austen Riggs Center is an open and voluntary hospital-based continuum of care for adults (18+) with complex psychiatric problems. We offer a range of interventions within an integrated psychodynamic framework. An emphasis is placed on patient authority and responsibility while examining the meaning behind behaviors and how behaviors impact relationships. We treat the individual, not just the diagnosis. Patients come to us with multiple diagnoses, but we understand that these labels do not necessarily capture the essence of their struggles or strengths. In addition, through our Online Intensive Outpatient Program (now in-network with Carelon Behavioral Health) we offer online treatment to college students and emerging adults (18-30) in Massachusetts.
