Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Livingston Counseling Center offers intensive group therapy for teenagers and pre-teens focused on coping with stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, anger management, and other issues. A group setting can offer skills acquisition at a faster rate than weekly therapy sessions, and support adolescents in learning new mental health skills while surrounded by peers. Our therapists use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to increase coping skills in a fun and engaging way. Group Days & Times
Pre-teen group (ages 9-12) meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-7PM. Our Teen group (ages 13-18) meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-7PM. Benefits of IOP
During your time in our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), you will learn a variety of skills including, but not limited to, communication, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, digital health, interpersonal relationships, mindfulness, radical acceptance, reframing negative/anxious thoughts, and increasing self-esteem.
