The intensive outpatient program ( IOP) at Burkwood Treatment Center is a leading addiction treatment service in Hudson, Wisconsin, offering comprehensive support for clients. Our intensive outpatient program serves adults age 18 and older who are struggling with substance use disorders. We offer a variety of effective treatment modalities to promote the success of each person in our IOP, including weekly individual and family therapies and intensive group therapy multiple times a week. Those who participate in our IOP usually remain in treatment for about 12 weeks depending on their needs. During this time, they take part in programming three evenings a week for about three hours each day. IOP services can be ideal for people who need more support than what is available in traditional outpatient therapy but do not need round-the-clock care. An IOP may also be valuable in helping people transition back to daily life after participating in an inpatient or residential program. In Burkwood’s IOP, adults work with a team of qualified and caring counselors to achieve their recovery goals.
In our IOP, we welcome adults who are stepping down from our residential program as well as those who are starting care at Burkwood Treatment Center for the first time.

VNCenter is a non-profit org dedicated to enabling individuals with multiple disabilities to live productive and fulfilling lives through an approach that addresses the mind, body, & spirit. Our programs include behavioral health services with a focus on substance abuse and supportive housing for people with cognitive disabilities, and we meet the complex needs of individuals with disabilities seeking treatment for drug and alcohol abuse. Our program is designed for: Those who can benefit from a slower-paced, more individually-focused program. People living with disabilities such as brain injury, developmental disability and/or physical disabilities. Individuals dealing with simultaneous mental illnesses. Those who have had difficulty succeeding in traditional SUD treatment programs or those who have relapsed and need a new approach. We treat co-occurring disorders and offer fully integrated mental health services with licensed mental health professionals, & an in-house psychologist and psychiatrist. Situated 20 miles west of Minneapolis, Vinland's main campus encompasses 178 acres of restored prairie land, woods and shoreline in a rural setting located 9 miles west of Wayzata.

Since 2002, MHS has provided intensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy services for individuals with significant difficulties in daily functioning. Many of our clients struggle with severe depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, substance abuse, relationship problems and safety issues that require ongoing monitoring and treatment. Our programs can be an alternative to frequent hospitalizations by providing skills training and support designed to manage emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and crises while remaining safe in the community. We collaborate with our clients and their treatment teams with the goal of long-term symptom reduction and improved mental health.
