Adults remain in our inpatient program for about five to seven days, though their exact length of stay usually depends on their individual progress. Inpatient treatment can be ideal for young people who have acute concerns and can benefit from crisis intervention. Our adolescent inpatient program has a typical length of stay of five to seven days, but a young person may remain in our care for the length of time that best fits their needs. When your child takes part in our adolescent inpatient program in Fort Wayne, Indiana, they will receive an individualized treatment plan that outlines the elements of care that can best meet their needs and support their therapeutic goals. A young person’s treatment plan may include medication management services, individual therapy, family therapy, and basic medical care. We also offer daily group therapy sessions for patients. At Resource Treatment Center, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, we believe that continuity of care is incredibly important for the adolescents and young adults we serve. Once a young person completes one of our residential treatment programs, we strive to ensure that they have the resources they need to navigate life after treatment with confidence. We begin planning for each resident’s discharge on the first day of treatment. Prior to discharge, our staff assists residents and their families with securing aftercare resources for continued care. We can provide referrals for primary care providers and outpatient programs, such as intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) and partial hospitalization programs (PHPs). We also connect families with a wraparound program that is provided by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This service is called the Children's Mental Health Initiative (CMHI), and it promotes family-driven support for adolescents and young adults who have mental health concerns and who are experiencing the effects of trauma.

Our Rapid 4-Day Opiate Detox Procedure is for patients addicted or dependent on heroin, pills, Suboxone, Methadone, and Fentanyl and Kratom. Day 1- patient completes intake paperwork, lab work, physical & psychological exam. We include a private room, private bathroom, flat-screen TV, WIFI and all meals are included. Day 2- patient is taken to the ICU, under the care of Award Winning, Board Certified Anesthesiologist & Addiction Specialist, Dr. Julia Aharonov. The patient receives IV Sedation and sleeps through withdrawals while closely monitored by the nursing staff. After the opiate reversal, the patient receives an FDA Approved Vivitrol® injection. Day 3- The patient comes back to their private room with 24-hour medical staff, and rests and recuperates for the day. If they experience any post-acute withdrawals, they are given non-addictive medications and receives those medications to take home. The next morning, after meeting with Dr. Aharonov, they are free to go home. Once your detox is complete, you are eligible for our detox-related aftercare. Financing is available.
