Hygieia Behavioral Health Foundation provides mental health treatment to both children and adults in Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas (all of California virtually) while advocating for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and marginalized communities. Our services are offered in English, Spanish, and Mandarin. We are committed to advancing our 100% culturally sensitive mental healthcare agenda and promoting health equity. We recognize that racial injustice has caused enough trauma to communities of color which in turn affects their mental wellbeing, and we’re doing our part to make a difference. We’re committed to helping bridge the gap of culturally sensitive mental health resources and treatments, promoting mental health wellness, and removing the barriers that hinder people from accessing the quality help they require. Our nonprofit organization targets marginalized communities who face significant barriers to accessing mental health care services, including but not limited to low-income individuals, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, refugees, undocumented individuals, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals experiencing homelessness. Our services are designed to be inclusive, culturally sensitive, and linguistically accessible, ensuring that all members of our target population have equitable access to the support they need to thrive.
