At Bradford Recovery Center, we provide an outpatient treatment program for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions and certain co-occurring mental health conditions. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) can be the ideal choice for people who need personalized and structured treatment services but don’t require 24-hour support. Our PHP can also work well as a continuing care option for patients who are stepping down from a more intensive form of treatment. Patients in our PHP typically remain in the program for around 90 days, but your individual needs will determine your precise length of stay. PHP participants can attend daily full-day programming, which may incorporate therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and the 12-Step model of recovery. MAT programs combine prescription medication and counseling to help people withdraw from opioids and work toward long-term recovery with support from qualified professionals. While some methadone clinics might offer one type of medication for patients, our CTC can provide methadone, naltrexone, or Suboxone depending on your individual needs. By alleviating symptoms that can accompany opioid withdrawal, the medications used in MAT can help patients engage in treatment and function in daily life while navigating recovery. Addressing the emotional and behavioral aspects of addiction can be crucial during recovery, which is why our MAT program includes individual and group therapy in addition to medication. The typical length of stay in this level of care is between 10 and 14 days but can vary depending on the progress a person makes during treatment. During this time, patients can participate in group therapy, family meetings, and leisure time. MAT is a research-backed type of opioid addiction treatment that combines the use of FDA-approved prescription medications with counseling services. MAT is widely supported by professionals as being one of the most successful forms of opioid addiction treatment because it addresses both the physical and psychological aspects of addiction. STR Behavioral Health – Lehigh Valley is a premier substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health disorder outpatient program with a new location coming to Lehigh Valley, PA. For both substance use disorder and mental health clients, we will offer separate programs for each population. Our programs will include partial hospitalization treatment, intensive outpatient treatment (day and night programs), and outpatient care, all with the support of a psychiatric provider, licensed clinicians, and experienced professionals. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) options as well as psychiatric medication management will be offered at all levels of care. Our programs are trauma-informed, individualized, and accredited by the Human Rights Campaign as a leader in providing LGBTQ+ services. We take a comprehensive and collaborative approach to care in a comfortable and safe environment prioritizing integrity, connection, and authenticity.

TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation), is a safe, non-invasive, effective treatment option for individuals suffering from Major Depressive Disorder who have not seen satisfactory results from antidepressants. These pulses will feel like tapping on the scalp. When delivered at the correct frequency and intensity, the pulses create localized electromagnetic fields which have the ability to stimulate nerve cells in the brain. Although treatment plans are individualized, the typical course of treatment is 5 times a week, for 6 weeks. Each individual treatment session takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and patients can resume daily activities immediately after treatment. TMS does not use anesthesia, and patients are fully alert for the duration of the treatment session. TMS can be used as a stand-alone therapy, or in conjunction with medication and psychotherapies. TMS does not have the same side effects as traditional medications, and is generally well tolerated. The most common side effects are mild headache and sensitivity at the site of stimulation.
