At Nova Luna we believe that people who develop eating disorders are highly intuitive, sensitive, and creative individuals who have the capacity to emerge from their disorder with a sense of renewal, inspiration, and transformative wisdom. The development of an eating disorder is a deeply symbolic and intuitive attempt to meet, mediate, and control the internal dis-ease resulting from external events and life experiences that the person could not navigate at the time they occurred. In our program we invite our clients to develop their inherent gifts and talents and offer them the opportunity to express them within our program. We call this 'The Nova Luna Process'.

The Ohana Addiction Treatment Center is a world-class alcohol and drug treatment facility on the Big Island of Hawaii. Our renowned clinical team will map out your treatment plan, giving you a personalized, structured path to long-term sobriety. We believe trauma is often at the root of addiction, and we use trauma-informed care to help you become “unstuck” using a combination of holistic and traditional therapies, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and more, acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and more.

At 'Ai Pono Maui Residential Treatment Center, we offer evidence-based, trauma-informed holistic eating disorder treatment in a peaceful home-like setting with picturesque views of the ocean (just footsteps away), mountains, and lush gardens. Our treatment center was designed to reflect and complement its surroundings - creating a peaceful, relaxing environment that will help women connect to their inner selves while on their journey towards recovery. We also offer a Partial Hospitalization (Day) Program in Maui and a Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program accessible to all residents of Hawaii.
