THOR Approved Affordable Recovery House for Men
We offer an affordable THOR (Transitional Housing for Offender Re-Entry) Approved Christ-Centered 12+ month intensive program for men 18+. Our fees are intentionally kept affordable. Eligible men can start working after 90 days into the program. However, prior to that, they are not allowed to work outside of the house due to the intensive nature of our treatment. Therefore, they will require a sponsor or be able to pay the fees themselves for at least the first 4 months. Our staff and volunteers include a State Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC II, CAMS I), Licensed Pastoral Counselor, Psychologist and Life Patterns Therapy author, as well as Pastors and Teachers. We utilize Christian 12 Step Programs (Celebrate Recovery), Step Studies, Life Patterns Therapy, Temperament Therapy, Sociagrams, EFT, Family Systems, Codependency Classes, Discipleship Training, and Individual and Family Counseling. We help Residents get to the root of why they abuse substances and help them heal. We teach them tools to reduce stress and increase problem solving skills. We also offer training for job skills, resume creation and opportunities to complete their education. Healing in a beautiful home and grounds
Our beautiful 8200 square foot house sits on 36 acres. The house has hard wood floors throughout, one attached bathroom for every upstairs bedroom, a recreation room, workout room, family room, and large kitchen and dining areas. We grow fresh vegetables and fruits in our garden for the house and raise bees, chickens, goats and pigs to support the ministry. Celebrate Recovery is a proven 25+ year old Christ-based 12-step program based on the Beatitudes. Contrary to what people think, this program is not only for people with alcohol and drug addictions. It is for people with hurts, habits and hangups they simply cannot overcome in their own strength. If you experience an inability to control your actions or reactions to other people or situations, then Celebrate Recovery is for you.
