HealthQwest in Canton is a community-based, Outpatient Addiction Treatment Program that treats patients with Opioid Use Disorder. We provide General Outpatient (OP) and Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with methadone, buprenorphine/Suboxone, and Vivitrol coupled with one-on-one, individualized counseling from our Certified Addiction Counselors.

Synapse, LLC is an Intensive Outpatient program designed to address substance use disorders, as well as, substance misuse. The Synapse System is the most advanced, evidence-informed, neuroscientific approach to treatment available on an outpatient basis. Synapse is a unique program in that all services are guided by neuroscience. Therefore, the Synapse System is a blend of traditional evidence based therapies with emerging neuroscientific technologies. Services include individual therapies, group therapies, and family therapy provided by a team of 3 licensed psychologists with approximately 75 years of cumulative experience treating substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our program, which includes day treatment levels of care and intensive outpatient, is designed to assist clients in their journey to understand and achieve through symptom management and the development of new life skills. Our program specializes in assisting adults and adolescents in working through symptoms associated with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar, dual diagnosis, and trauma related challenges. Through our comprehensive approach including CBT, DBT, and ACT our trauma focused approach from our treatment team carry the expertise to fulfill an array of mental health problems. Time now offers an intensive outpatient program, three evenings a week, that will serve adolescents age thirteen to seventeen years old. The adolescent track relies heavily on being an interactive experience that assists clients in healing through art, movement, and experiential activities. Shepherds Hill Academy (SHA) is a CARF accredited and Georgia state-licensed and accredited, nature-based, therapeutic boarding school. Our 12-month program provides 24/7 and 365 care with a 5-to-1 student-to-staff ratio for teen boys and girls ages 12-17. Our gender-separate programs each have a maximum capacity of 18 students. A unique faith-based approach and authoritative community provide an unplugged environment to foster healthy relationships, alleviate anhedonia, and promote identity formation. Students work through the challenges of life for a successful future where our certified teaching staff offers quality education and career enrichment. At SHA, 80% of our academic graduates go onto post-secondary education; 69% of our students who required medication have been able to significantly reduce or be fully taken off their regimen after their time at SHA; 5% of our students who actually needed medication were able to start the proper regimen. The Cottages also has a 4th-year Resident Rotation with the Depart. of Psychiatry of a major Teaching Hospital. Programming includes a 24/7 residential treatment program as well as transitional independent living housing (mental health) which includes case management. We also offer day programming, as well as an out-patient drug and alcohol program (separate program from the mental health program). Additional services include assistance with helping our clients obtain employment. Programming for seniors includes depression and anxiety, Behavioral Health Care and Memory Loss (documented and outcome driven). Individual therapy includes CBT, DBT/RO-DBT, EMDR and PTSD.
