What we treat
EQ Perspectives is a multi-level mental health facility. We offer partial hospitalization (PHP) and intensive outpatient (IOP) as well as therapy and medication management. Our programs are designed for patients who find that once a week therapy is not enough. Our patients are often struggling in many areas of life: school, work, socially or relationally. They are in need of a structured daily program. We will assess each patient to determine the level of care needed. We treat adults and adolescents with mood and anxiety disorders. We also have a dual diagnosis program which focuses on mental health and co-occuring substance abuse problems. Why EQ?
EQ Perspectives is an outpatient program designed to inspire introspection into the core of one’s mental health struggle. The program’s mission is to teach emotional intelligence (EQ); which means becoming smarter with emotions. Increasing one’s EQ will improve overall life success, strengthen relationships and develop reverence for life and the self. The program uses the research and teaching model from Six Seconds which is a non-profit organization aimed to teach EQ in various settings.
