Located in Asheville, North Carolina, Asheville Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) is a leading provider of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older. MAT is a form of outpatient treatment that combines the use of prescription medications with counseling to treat opioid use disorder. The prescription medications used in MAT have proved to help people quit using opioids and manage the uncomfortable physical symptoms associated with withdrawal. The therapeutic component allows adults to learn how to manage negative emotions, address things like past trauma, and adopt the skills necessary to maintain recovery. Our compassionate team works directly with each patient to help them understand the reasons behind their opioid use and how opioid addiction has affected their life. IOP Services provides “intensive outpatient” therapy for adults who would benefit from more than just "normal therapy" (i.e., meeting for an hour every week or two with your therapist) but do not need complete hospitalization or residential treatment. IOP Services provides nine hours of group therapy per week to each client in addition to targeted individual support. From an IOP, you can "step up" into a residential program if you need more support or "step down" into less intensive forms of therapy when you're feeling better. You decide what works best for you.

In-person and virtual programming offered! The Pines at Holly Hill Adult (18+) and Adolescent (13-17 years old) Outpatient offers two programs: Partial Hospitalization (Mon-Fri from 8:45am-2:00pm) and Intensive Outpatient: (Mon-Wed-Fri from 8:45am-12:00pm). Led by our Director of Outpatient and staffed with a team of medical professionals (Psychiatrists, Therapists and Registered Nurse), each program uses elements of evidence-based practice such as Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help patients in need of more supportive treatment.
