Dr. Daniel E. Bruzzone, PsyD, QME, Clinical Director of Accent On Wellness Psychology Associates, Inc. (formerly Social Science Consulting), specializes in Clinical and Forensic Psychology. His background also includes military and aviation-related experience, and he is bilingual (English/Spanish). Dr. Bruzzone has provided mental health services to diverse populations, and in varied settings throughout the Los Angeles area, since 2002. In addition, Dr. Bruzzone is qualified to perform POST-type pre-employment appeal assessments for police and public safety applicants, having completed over 200 of them for jurisdictions throughout California. Evolve Vanalden is a Comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Residential Treatment Center: the first of its kind in California and one of only a handful in the country. DBT is an evidence-based treatment that has been proven to help reduce emotion dysregulation, self-harming behavior, and/or suicidal ideation. We treat teens diagnosed with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, addiction, or other issues. Evolve's robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy (at least five scheduled 1-hour sessions a week), DBT Skills Training Groups (4 times a week), and skills coaching (24/7). Zinnia Serenity Lodge is a Men's Only Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facility, for those 18 and over, who are struggling with alcoholism, drug addiction and co-occurring disorders. Zinnia Serenity Lodge offers 30, 60 and 90 day plans (and beyond) depending on the needs of the individual. We offer residential treatment, partial hospitalization treatment and intensive outpatient treatment plans, each one tailored to meeting the individual need of each patient. We offer life direction, guidance and tools for everyday living. Our program provides individual counseling, group therapy, extensive education, appropriate family treatment, 12 step meetings as well as alternatives to 12 step, and the facilitation of aftercare. Each patient's treatment plan is based on ongoing assessments by clinical and medical staff, and is based on the progression or regression of a patient's behavioral and medical state.

Valley Recovery Center provides residential treatment services for adult men suffering from substance abuse and co-occurring conditions. Our treatment team providers will evaluate the client’s medical health, mental health and substance use history in order to design an individualized treatment plan tailored to meet the varying needs of the client and his or her family. Clients reside in a non-institutional, home-like setting with private individual bedrooms that provide a safe and secure healing environment. Providing gender-specific treatment in a smaller group setting helps clients remain focused on the recovery process and strengthen trusting relationships.
