At Evolve, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, aggression, defiance, trauma, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. At Evolve Lafayette, we believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a customized, highly detailed treatment plan that is constantly updated based on treatment progress. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week, weekly psychiatry, daily groups (on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, Life Skills, Healthy Relationships, and Seeking Safety), and daily academic support. Families from out-of-state participate in family therapy remotely. Teens also participate in experiential therapies (e.g. equine, music, art, fitness, yoga, and more) as well as SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.

Elevation Behavioral Health is a fully licensed residential treatment facility located in the affluent community of Agoura Hills, California. Located in Canyon Country near the beaches of Malibu, Elevation is licensed with the Department of Health Care Services and the Department of Social Services. The facility is co-owned and operated by Dr. Priya Chaudhri and Steven Booth, both individuals with extensive experience running high-end rehabs for over a decade. Our Board Certified Psychiatrists and Therapists are available to help everyday and we can offer same day appointments. Telepsychiatry or Telemedicine uses video link (via computer or smartphone) to offer appointments from home or outside clinic. Jackson House Recovery Center (JHRC) specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. We can teach you to live without being dependent on any substances. JHRC provides evidenced-based treatment modalities paired with a strong emphasis on the development of community, strengthening family connections, nutrition, and treatment planning.

Insurance covers up to 100 percent of the treatment and therapeutic modalities that Newport Institute offers. We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested doctor-to-doctor calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process.
