Since 2007, Woodleaf has helped clients with anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder recover. We are the longest running eating disorder program in Northern California and our specialty binge eating program has been running over 16 years. Our adult program is intentionally small creating a safe, private environment in which to heal. Our convenient evening hours are designed so professionals and students can keep living their lives while they recover. Insurance often covers program costs and we offer scholarships whenever possible. All of our staff are licensed experts (no interns) and have been working together for years. We provide Child and Adult Psychiatry, Therapy and Substance abuse clients via video across California. Our Board Certified Psychiatrists and Therapists are available to help everyday and we can offer same day appointments. Telepsychiatry or Telemedicine uses video link (via computer or smartphone) to offer appointments from home or outside clinic. It offers the option to see a psychiatrist any time as long as you have access to your smart phone or computer.

Located in the heart of the Embarcadero district, Foundations San Francisco offers a comprehensive intensive outpatient program and Partial Hospitalization for addiction and mental health conditions in a convenient urban setting. We provide highly individualized, confidential treatment to help you in your recovery. Our masters-level therapists offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based therapies alongside mindfulness and holistic practices with a flexible schedule. In addition, we offer 12-Step-optional programs where clinical decisions are driven by your unique needs. Participants attend the program for approximately 25 days or around 5 to 8 weeks. Participants attend the program a minimum of 3 days a week up to 5 days a week depending on the level of support needed. The Day IOP runs Monday through Friday 3 hours a day, 12PM –3PM and the Evening IOP runs Monday through Thursday 5PM – 8PM. OP is now available including 1 group and 1 individualize session per week. The program is certified by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and accredited by The Joint Commission. Validated parking.

We offer: Intimate group settings with a limit of 8 in a group 15 weeks intensive outpatient treatment, groups meet 3 times a week Group therapy facilitation by a licensed therapist Consultation with a nutritionist and/or registered dietitian Coordination with your primary care provider and/or therapist Individualized food plans prepared by our nutritionist. We offer groups for adults as well as an adolescent group. Insurance covers up to 100 percent of the treatment and therapeutic modalities that Newport Institute offers. We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested doctor-to-doctor calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process. Adults can benefit from residential care when they need 24-hour support with a highly structured therapy schedule. Those who are currently using drugs or alcohol might begin their treatment with detoxification. We offer medically assisted detox to help people rid their bodies of addictive substances and achieve stabilization. Once someone begins residential treatment, they receive therapy several times each week along with medication management. The typical length of stay at this level of care is about 30-90 days, however, this time will vary based on individual concerns.

Our detoxification services help adolescents rid their bodies of drugs or alcohol so they can focus on their treatment plans. Residential care includes a structured therapy schedule with 24-hour support. The typical length of stay at this level is about 30-90 days depending on each adolescents’ specific concerns and goals.
